Amid the Coronavirus Shutdown, Animal Shelters "Retail Rescue" are doing an awful lot of complaining despite the fact that most of them really should have shut themselves down years ago when their available "product" dried up. That would have been the moral thing to do anyway. However, some of their animal rights partners such as ASPCA and Petco Foundation are now spreading the wealth, millions of dollars aimed at keeping their Retail Rescue network infrastructure alive and well. Obviously they are banking on being able to ride this whole thing out and then ramp up operations, i.e. FUNDRAISING, as quickly as possible. Even as Retail Rescue is considered "essential" for whatever reason, they are actively populating any "product" they can obtain inside of their network of foster homes.
We Must NOT Forget What Retail Rescue Has Really Been Up To All These Years
Pictured here is a shelter transfer point in Colorado. The parking lot was staffed full of local Retail Rescue transporters. Some of the dogs were unloaded and then quickly whisked away within less than hour, we may assume to their new retail outlet destinations. The remaining dogs were then brought into Petco for vaccinations! This particular shelter transfer van had Pennsylvania plates, meaning those UN-vaccinated and possibly sick dogs were being trafficked across the country and into the state without health certificates or prior veterinary inspection!
1. How much will the shutdown affect their importation, smuggling, and trafficking?
2. Where will they source enough "product" so they can continue to swindle the pet-loving American public?
Cute Puppies for Adoption/Sale
In their own words, breeding their own supply is actually considered to be a best practice, as it were. Fraudulent one would think. Yet, when has that ever stopped them?! If their track record is any clue, we may assume that Retail Rescue will come out of the Coronovirus Shutdown with a lot of cute puppies ready for "adoption", i.e. sale. Historically, Retail Rescue has been getting away with importing, smuggling, and then laundering their smuggled merchandise throughout our states for years, maliciously misrepresenting the animal market in order to fool everyone into believing there is actually a need for such a lucrative "service". Go figure.
In the near future, our lawmakers and complicit governing agencies are going to have to stop looking the other way and start taking a hard look at what exactly is going on in both these foster homes and throughout Retail Rescue's vast network of volunteers. Why exactly are these Retail Rescuers not being prosecuted?
